Meet the Pastor
Upon returning to the Greater Houston area in 1976, he served in a bi-vocational ministry of Church planting and interim pastorates. In 1987 Pastor Martin worked in the planting of GBC, formerly named Bellville Bible Church, with five other couples, native to Bellville. He has long believed that making and guarding significant relationships is at the core of both the church’s ministry and a believers’ outreach methodology. Wayne is married to Mrs. Andrea Martin, his wife of 46 years. They have three children, and four grandchildren.
Pastor Wayne Martin attended both Tennessee Temple University and Dallas Bible College before receiving his BS degree in Theology and Leadership from the College of Biblical Studies in Houston, Texas.
